Fully responsible person who understands and prepares return-on-investment analyses by establishing time schedules and adhere to it.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :
Four year college degree from an accredited institution. · Five years Product management experience in a business-to-business sales environment. Demonstrated proficiency, managing analytically rigorous initiatives. · PC proficiency

JOB DESCRIPTION
1 Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves providing detailed product knowledge thru. printed and electronic promotional material, product training. Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development initiatives
2 Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
3 Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the field force is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors products. Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information. Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
4 Act as point of first reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in Sales & Research to address any issues that may arise. Close liaison with the field force to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material
5 Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
6 5. Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions. Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products, either conduct this research with in-house staff or manage an outside agency ie initial identification of suitable partner, definition of responsibilities, communication plan, divisions of responsibility, milestones, contract with company, review transcripts and reports, and recommend action plans from the research.
7 Responsible for providing information to Management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports. Constantly monitoring inventory levels held at central and interstate warehouses including liaison with production (locally and globally) to ensure supply timelines. Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
Proven working experience in product management. Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management. Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job. Product Management, People Management, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Requirements Analysis, Pricing, Planning, Competitive Analysis, Sales Planning, Self - Motivated, Self - driven Team Leader. Strong Presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn and retain product specific information and benefits to customers. Motivation for Sales and Sales Team.
