Asst. Manager - QC

Key Responsibilities :

Responsible to assist with the overall implementation and management of the Quality Assurance (QA) program like ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS BS 18001 and ensuring that quality objectives established by management, regulatory programs and project plans are met.

To co?ordinate all activities required to direct and control manufacturing quality. In particular to review product quality requirements for individual clients and projects, to ensure those requirements are understood and implemented to manage the quality of manufactured items to meet the requirements of the contract specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile :

• Responsible for overall Quality of raw material inspection/ in process quality/ inspection of finished products of fabricated jobs.

• Development of Standard and customer specific QAP for various jobs and take approval from client for jobs involving processes like FCAW/ SMAW/GMAW.

• Suggesting necessary corrective/ preventive measures to minimize the product non-conformities.

• Review of Inspection of all Incoming Material (i.e. Raw Material, Buy-out Material and Special Buy-out Material) as per applicable international standards like BIS/DIN/BS.

• Visit to vendor facilities for Raw Materials inspection and submit inspection report. with necessary recommendation.

• Prepare QC reports, non-conformance reports and initiate corrective & preventive actions.

• Familiarity with NDT and WPS/PQR and PQR.

• Should have good knowledge of Quality Management Systems & its implementation like ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS BS 18001 etc.

• Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, KAIZEN, 5S etc.
