I am currently holding two positions; first one as Internal Audit Manager for OCI NV and reporting to Audit and Risk Director, second position as Risk and Internal Control Manager for EBIC and EFC (subsidiaries of OCI NV based in Egypt) reporting to Managing Director and CFO.

I have joined Orascom Construction since January 2008. During this period, I participated in numerous assignments of both Businesses of Construction and Chemicals (normal audits, investigations, top management requests, etc.) as either lead or assisting auditor, performing audits on fertilizers and constructions in many countries such as; Egypt, Algeria, Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia (Jeddah, Makkah, and Hail), Netherlands, Dubai, and different locations in USA (Texas, Virginia, Hawaii, and Iowa).

Before joining OCI, I worked as senior internal auditor at Pepsi Co. for 2 years, and 4 years as external auditor in big audit firms (KPMG and Ex. Deloitte & Touche, Moustafa Shawki & Co).

With 15-year experience in the field and in addition to holding the CIA certificate from the Global Institute of Internal Auditors IIA, I have gained throughout this period tremendous skills and expertise enabling me to contribute and provide high level of quality deliverables.
