Job Profile –

Leading the ‘Purchase teams’ of all four zones in India. Reporting to AVP- Purchase & CFO.

Monitoring & Controlling Procurement on PAN India basis for –
-Raw Materials (Cement, Aggregates, Admixtures)
-Engineering & IT Spares – Mechanical, Hardware & Electrical items, machined & fabricated components, Equipment spares...etc.
-CAPEX (RMC Plants & Accessories, Silos, Wheel Loaders, Machines) on PAN India basis.
-Civil & Admn. Procurement - Finalisation of Civil Constructions, Erection & commissioning of new plants, Interior of New Offices, Dismantling of obsolete plants, GPS Tracking System.
Preparing Rate Contracts for spares & consumable inventories like ‘V’ Belts, Bearings, Switchgear Products, Oil & Lubes, Stationery Items...etc.
Fund Allocation, PO Approvals.
Cost Saving- through re-negotiations, alternate Vendor Development & Value Engineering.

•Vendor Development - Vendor selection, vendor Evaluation, periodic assessments, vendor Rating, Quality approval for new vendor’s products. Co-ordination on technical matters with vendors and colleagues to ensure quality standards.
