• Performing Strength calculations & Local load Analysis of Static Equipments like Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels and Columns based on the applicable design code / Local Statutory requirements by PV Elite, Code calc & NozzlePRO tools.
• Performing Design, Rating for Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers based on the applicable client specifications / Thermal datasheets by HTRI Xchanger Suite software.
• Preliminary Mechanical/Thermal Design (Proposal Design) for Estimation purposes, Technical evaluation & Confidentiality for Pre-Bids.
• Responsible for obtaining approval of design & detail drawing from client, AI, TPI etc.
• Preparing TDC for procurement as per client specification and code.
• Preparing engineering schedule for the preparation of strength calculation and detailed drawings.
• Allotment & follow up of jobs for draughtsman to meet the given engineering schedule.
• Coordinate with drafting team from enquiry stage to as built of equipment. And providing design data and inputs to detailed drawing and solving technical issues for smooth running of the engineering schedule.
• Checking of Detailed drawings with design calculation before releasing to client and internal departments.
• Coordinating with Purchase, Production & QA/QC departments on any technical issues for smooth running of the project.
• Preparing and Checking of procurement details for forgings, plates, ANSI flanges, fasteners…Etc.,
