Brief Back ground about my professional career:
Venkat brings with him over 16 years of diverse experience in the areas of Change Management, Lean Management, Quality, Business Process Re-engineering, and Operations Improvement.
He is currently working with Indus Towers Limited as General Manager – Process Excellence and Change Management responsible for Organization-wide Change Management, Process Excellence strategy formulation, EBITDA improvement and cost reduction projects identification and execution, across 15 telecom circles in India. He is also managing the Deming Prize journey, prestigious Quality Award at Indus Towers, worked with Management Committee and crafted BHAGs for 5 years goals as a vision for organization. Thus far, Venkat’s significant achievements at Indus Towers; successfully executed 300+ Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Steering Committee Projects with INR 400 Cr value benefit. Trained more than 700 employees on Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Designed and standardized 21 business processes through BPMS. Disseminated 65 action items across the organization towards qualifying for Deming prize diagnosis (JUSE organized).
Before joining Indus, Venkat worked with Valcon A/S Management Consultants as Director – Business Excellence/ Change Management Practice Lead. In this role, Venkat was leading the new consulting business opportunities and executing projects across various sectors such as Engineering, EPC, Service, Pharmaceutical, Breweries, Manufacturing (Auto component& OEMs, Textiles, Garments, White goods, Packaging, etc), FMCG, Metals& Minerals, etc. In this capacity, Venkat has executed more than 75 high potential lead time reduction, supplier development, and cost reduction and quality improvement projects and provided Lean Yellow Belt and Green Belt training's to 1200+ employees. Venkat was Lean and TQM competency champion for Valcon.
Prior to Valcon, Venkat has worked with Aditya Birla Nuvo as Technical Manager – Quality Assurance and Customer Complaints Lead, implemented TQM, worked closely with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Lean quality systems in 70 in-house and outsourcing manufacturing facilities and trained more than 800 employees on TQM methods.
Prior to which he was associated with Natural Textiles Group, and Welspun India Ltd as Learning Leader and Six Sigma Black Belt for Quality Process Improvement.
Venkat started his career with a freelancing consulting firm Johnstef as Lean Quality Systems / Toyota Production System Implementation Trainer; had worked with auto component manufacturers and engineering industries for improving their manufacturing productivity through successful execution of lean management / TPS concepts.
