Tanmay Majhi

I am a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineer with around 9 Yrs.6 months of work experience in Plant System Engineering including Piping Engineering in Power Plant Projects (Sub-critical & Super-critical TPP, Simple Gas Turbine and Combined Cycle Power Plant). 

Now I am working in General Electric (GE) Power India Ltd. as an Engineer (Piping Layout & Arrangement). 

My work experiences mostly comprises

i) Detail Design & Mechanical System Engineering of Power Plant Projects

ii) Piping Layout and Arrangement Engineering tasks

iii) Knowledge of PDMS modelling and review

iv) Knowledge of Pipe stress analysis with CAESAR II

v) Review Engineering

vi) Proposal engineering.                               

vii) Tendering management & Vendor management 

viii) Retrofit & Modernization of Old Power plants

ix) Involvement on Site Construction engineering and supervision & Commissioning activities.

I am comfortable with codes like ASME 31.1, ASME/ASTM, ASME TDP, NFPA etc. and Engineering software such as MSOffice, PDMS , E3D 2.1, CAESAR II, NAVISWORKS, PVElite,  AutoCAD etc.
