OBJECTIVE

I want to pursue a career in an organization where I can further extend my knowledge graph and seek an environment that is intellectually stimulating, values merit, professionalism and provides opportunities for personal and professional growth. Presently working with Trent Ltd (West side) As a Senior Sourcing Executive in apparel category from October 2011.

Currently working for Menswear (Mumbai, Tirupur, Bangalore, Delhi and Ludhiana & Overseas)– 2013 till date also handling STUDIO WEST (cosmetics) from 2017 as an additional role profile.

Previously to menswear was handling Kidswear for 1.5 yrs, Womenswear & Innerwear for Mumbai & Overseas for 1.5 yrs – 2011-2013 (TRENT)

• Coordinate with Buyer for style allocation, delivery lead time, costing to get fixed with vendor.
• Follow up with vendor to maintain on time delivery.
• Sourcing and Vendor Management of Apparels.

• Evaluate the factory on all the parameters-company management, infrastructure, and production capabilities.

▪ Implementing management systems in the organization & ensuring compliance with the process requirements.
▪ Directing the development and implementation of key procurement strategies / contingency plans for commodities and ensuring that plans are aligned with production requirements.

▪ To forward development tech pack for making the samples to different supplier e.g. Bangladesh, China, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia (Mumbai, Bangalore, Tirupur).
▪ To source different kind Fabric accordingly from India, Bangladesh, China for best quality, and also to follow up with them till we get the initiate yardages for making the sample
▪ To source trims from Hong Kong
▪ Costing of garment.
▪ Make collection as per buyer requirement (summer/winter).
▪ Propose different kind of styling/fabric quality samples to buyer.
▪ Negotiate with Buyer for price and delivery date.
▪ Coordinating with buyer for comment sheet, Order details, so that the same can in handed over to merchandising dept for bulk production updating the same in the systems.
▪ Hand over responsibilities to Merchandising Dept
▪ To negotiate with the fabric supplier for best price and lead time and to book the greige accordingly.
▪ To negotiate with supplier for bulk order quantity, give them target price and delivery date accordingly.
