My experience spans the complete range of Technology, Sales-Support, Business-Management and is a complex summation of my expertise and knowledge arising out my exposure to multiple industry domains such as – Healthcare, Retail, Banking, Distribution & Logistics, Entertainment, Manufacturing etc.., combined with my special abilities across variety of streams like - Systems Engineering & Integration, Technological discoveries in Hardware, Testing and Business Process eco-systems as well.
Over the last 35-Years, I have had the good fortune of working in various capacities, playing multiple roles like-- CIO (Innovation & IS), Global Delivery Head, India Operations Head, Business Unit Head, Practice Head, Delivery-Head - so much so that I have earned the reputation of an all-round personality with deep knowledge of Business-nuances and Operational competencies (Sales/MKTG/BDM, HR/Recruitment/Training, BU-P&L/Budgeting, Delivery(technology / projects / products), Quality, Practice-Management, R&D/Innovation).
Disruptive but Constructive Innovation has been the “thought-trigger” within me and this has manifested in many forms; leaving an indelible mark in the space in which I have Conceptualized, Architected, Designed, Delivered, Implemented and Modeled Business solutions over these 35-years of experience… A quick overview would point to – Developing Business Applications like – ERP ( Multi-staged pluggable Modules with top notch features like – ABC, PMK, TDL), SCM (Optimization, Integration, Market-place, D&L ALGOS), Flexible APIs & Business-Engine-Overlays for e-Business / e-Commerce, and Data Warehouse Solutions using Distributed Domain-Laced-analytics. The solution differentiator runs so deep that the uniqueness (as a flagship offering) and competitive edge enabled us to turn each of this into a Profitable Business Unit, for the various IT companies that I worked for.
The resultant effect of my Leadership abilities – certified for excellence by Franklin Covey and WIPRO Leadership programs – have also enabled me to turn around 3 Companies (from red) over the last 8-9 years. Banking on my Technological understanding and Business Management exposures, I have now embarked onto another PATH BREAKING SOLUTION / PLATFORM – in the SECURITY space and am glad to set-up a new venture for something that would be attempted for the FIRST-TIME-EVER across the world…
The thematic approach in all of the solution streams that I have worked on, starts off with the Identification of critical need(s) which are either elicited / extracted using user / market demands which inherently falls within the precincts of Validation -exercise; clearly with an aim to cull out the typical problems, challenges, pain areas that impact the user(s) / business(es). The methodology adopted in terms of developing an idea falls under the umbrella of a structured approach that acts as the driver for deducing a new-wave unique solution that will stand the test of time as well as provide for a definitive business advantage. The model of deriving path-breaking solutions is subjected to many evaluation-criterion such as – (i) Ease of Use, (ii) Costs & Affordability, © Sustainability – that qualifies in terms of futuristic needs, competition and technology-obsolescence, (d) Customization requirements, (e) Repeatability, (f) Serviceability, (g) Enhancements and Evolution for the future….
