Now, advising the company MD and other works site operational staff on GST. Having study in GST in deep and completed 1.5 months GST certificate course also organized by VG Learning Destination (Faculty – CA Ashok Batra).
• Worked as Head of Corporate Taxation (Direct and Indirect) with North Delhi Power Limited for more than 3 years (a joint venture of Tata Power Limited and Delhi State Government involved in power distribution in Delhi with annual turnover of Rs. 3200 crores).
• Proven ability to improve operations, impact business growth and maximise profits through achievement in Finance Management, Internal Controls and Productivity / efficiency improvements.
• Well versed with the provisions of Accounting standards, finalization of accounts, Taxation – Direct and Indirect with sound knowledge of filing various returns, undertaking tax assessments and appeals.
• Handled Income Tax survey matters with proven track record of successfully handling such issues twice.
• Possess experience in scrutiny assessments, handling sales tax cases, appearing before CIT (Appeals) & handling cases at ITAT level.
