Stores Management: Overseeing stores management including day-to-day activities like receipts, storage, issues and disposition as well as management of supply chain. Keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements. Providing innovative warehousing like just in time services to increase inventory visibility and velocity at the same time helping the client reducing total cost and cycle time.
Inventory Management: Assessing physical layout of warehouse/stores for storage of materials, spare parts & consumables and ensuring smooth accounting, issue of material to production & project sites. Making effective use of cost analysis tools in support of strategic sourcing process, procurement costs, cost reduction metrics and bottom line performance indicators.
Logistics Operations: Devising and effectuating strategies for optimizing transportation costs of goods & materials. Coordinating with cost effective transporters for seamless & timely pickup and delivery of orders. Managing logistics operations involving coordinating with companies for sea/air/road transport, C&F agents, CHA’s and other external agencies to achieve seamless & cost-effective transport solutions.
