• Over 28+ years’ industry experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and Chemical Process Industries.
• Leads the Team of personnel including Reliability, Planning, Field maintenance.
• Proficient in Maintenance, Engineering, Project and construction activities of Petrochemical, Oil and Gas plant.
• Proficient in Planning, scheduling, estimating and budgeting and execution of Project, Maintenance and construction activities of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Plants.
• Proficient in coordinating and executing Planning, Mechanical, Instrumentation and electrical maintenance activities in the plant.
• Good technical knowledge of mechanical, piping, process or structural activities at a Manager level.
• Knowledge of different stages of EPCM projects and required deliverables.
• Excellent organizational skills (i.e. work and taskforce) as well as planning and scheduling of activities and coordinating different discipline e.g. Mechanical, Instrument & Control and Electrical.
• Proficient in Planning and managing the capital and operating budgets for Maintenance section in coordination with the Discipline heads. Monitors and reconciles capital and operating expenditure against planned budget. Investigates any variances to ensure effective cost control and review performance.
• Participate and coordinate in preparing 5 year business plan for Maintenance section.
• Monitor the plant equipment and facilities performance and identifies opportunities for improvements. Recommends and initiates changes/upgrades in facilities and equipment to maximize production yields, output and profitability.
• Monitor and ensure proper planning and effective use of CMMS(SAP), and monitor KPI’s set for maintenance functions.
• Focal point for Vendor development, OEM communications, Contract/LTSA development, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• High computer literacy in MS Office, planning & scheduling software (Project) and technical application software.
• Ensure proper implementation of Preventive, Predictive and corrective maintenance systems and provide support to turnaround and Facility Modification plans of the plant.
• Ensure and controls proper spares availability, maintaining inventory, consumables are available to meet out the Maintenance requirements.
• Proficient in selecting and awarding contracts for equipment supply and construction contracts.
• Takes Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility.
• Ensures that Maintenance section adheres to the PTW system, and suggest any improvement required for it.
• Demonstrated visible commitment to HSE by periodically leading/taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills, etc
• Participate in technical investigation and RCA for improving Maintenance strategies and better availability of equipments.
• Recruits, motivates and develops competent staff and high performance teams. Develops recruitment and mobilization plans, succession planning and training and development plans with the support of HR and Training & Development.
• Develop and provide Nationalization program for the local trainees.
