Materials Management / Inventory Management Managing warehouse operations by ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve the maximum cost saving with minimum holding of stock. Implementing effective systems and procedures as well as preparing records to keep a track of inward / outward movement of goods in plant. Controlling Inventory turn ratio, manage minimum inventory of finished Goods (Without suffering Customer), Raw Material (Without suffering our production). Managing the implementation of Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure efficiency and online function. Procuring the raw material as per M.R.P. (Material Resource Planning), Inventory control and cost reduction. Ensuring prompt return of rejected goods to the suppliers. & timely disposal of PC scrap. Ensure proper storage condition monitoring of stored goods and compliance with best housekeeping and 5S practices. Physical verification of stocks by cyclic count process & perpetual inventory verification process. Inventory Valuation & Verification and Reconciliation. Dispatch Planning & Control / Customer Support Knowledge in Export activities which includes pre shipment & post shipment. and able to handle the Govt. agencies & Local authorities for Export regulations Managing Free Zone warehouse deliveries inbound & outbound coordination & preparation of manual pro-forma delivery documents where required. Follow up on Shipment status and order acknowledgment and provide regular updates to internal stock holder. Dispatch the material to customer in Supply Chain Management (On Logistic basis) & co-ordinate the customer effectively. Ensure 100% delivery of material to customer keeping in mind our inventory. Inventory management, Identification, reporting, review & disposal of non moving & obsolete inventory. Apply inventory control techniques like ABC, XYZ and VED analysis, JIT Concept & DOL. Vendor Management Indirect Buying: Steering strategic sourcing through identification of cost effective vendors/suppliers for procurement with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality & reliability. Assessing performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms etc. Carrying out vendor localization/ indigenization for curtailing costs of materials as well as negotiating the terms of credit with vendors as well as the cost of material required. Developing vendors for factory consumable and strategic goods items required in warehouse, rework activities with a cost reduction. Transport Planning & Logistic Identify cost reduction opportunities by developing new transporters, alternate & cost effective modes of transport, optimizing warehouse operation Best transport route planning in the interest of the company. & Monitoring Transport Movement. Day to Day Co-ordination between the transport and the staff. & adhering to the set transport Guidelines. Finalization of work Order contract for Transport of Project Dispatches. Production Planning & Control Overseeing production related tasks including planning, control and trouble shooting. Setting up production targets and achieve the same within time and cost parameters. Scheduling & routing Production orders, loading the materials on line as per back to back, Bulk & Kanban concepts. Performing reconciliation of excess materials, consumption errors, Bill of Materials accuracy, Rejection & Rescheduling of orders on regular basis. Achieving daily & weekly assembly targets by effective coordination with Assembly, QC, QA, Stores, Procurement & Daily Re-alignment of assembly plan based on priority and actual. Leading Daily materials / Manufacturing review and focusing on overall plant Cycle times, Capacities, Manpower requirements, Rejections, Counter Measures, New product releases. Shop Floor Control Provide the material of right quality in right quantity at right time to each shop effectively through our ERP Keep daily track of issued material to each shop & ensure minimum inventory on shop floor Administration & Reporting Responsible for Internal & External Audit Department / Section MIS including reports on any inventory buildup. Develop team members through continuous coaching & motivation; resolution of internal conflicts & grievances if any. Ensure compliances with all Policies & SOPs and initiate CAPA, wherever required. Responsible for TQM, TPM, Risk Assessment, Gap Analysis, S-QCD and TS-16949. Dealing with C.H.A., Transporters, Insurance Claims, and Co-ordination with PPC, Production, Marketing and Finance. Optimizing man & machine utilization to achieve per set production targets. Responsible for capacity balancing of each shop. Running extra shift & subcontracting some operations to overcome shortage hours Production Planning and Control
