 Study contract drawings and review technical specifications.
 Carry out Structural engineering designs and Glass Façade, Curtain wall (related to design, wind loads, Seismic loads) independently with reference to Project Specifications, international codes and local legislation.
 Preparation of Detailed Analysis and Design, Connection Design Calculation, Structural Steel, Aluminum and Glass Facade Curtain Wall Structure for various structures related to Building Projects Proposal, Approvel & Construction.
 Attends the weekly/monthly progress meetings with the client/consultants and Submission of Project Planning and scheduling of progress Report.
 Review Contractor’s shop drawings against the design [tender] drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to project manager with appropriate comments / approval within the specified contractual period.
 Preparation of technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and
co- ordination issues.
 Responsible for accomplishment of the Structural design related works assigned within the scheduled time.
 Monitor the ongoing construction of the structural work and instruct the contractor to make corrections as necessary to improve the finish of the constructed works.
 Reviews the Structural drawings prepared by other Engineers and ensure they are incompliance with the project specifications, as per code provisions and provide guidance where necessary.
 Review and approve Contractors ‘as built’ drawings.
 Authority follow-up for design approvals.
 Co-ordinates with other departments during the various stages of the execution cycle.
 Co-ordination of works at Site as per Contracts Specification / Estimation /Structural Design /Drawings / production cycle.
 Conducts site visits and Monitor the ongoing construction of the structural work and instruct the contractor to make corrections as necessary to improve the finish of the constructed works.
