I am a Swedish national & educated senior executive with over 25 years proven expertise in Operation, Sales / Business Development for oil and gas and Power. Bilingual in Swedish and Urdu/Hindi, with full proficiency in English, I have lived and successfully managed companies & distributors in Asia Pacific for 18 years. As GM in India, I have previously run the Rolls-Royce (Energy) India country office and managed Sales & Project teams with short, medium and long term sales plan & strategies & their implementation plan including completion of 230MUSD project as covering all local project manager & contract manager aspects.
Being born in Asia, educated and worked in Sweden, Manage customers in Africa, led teams in India, Malaysia/Japan & Singapore, developed & managed the Energy Division in India and being consultant in Dubai, gave me unmatchable understanding of cultural diversity, strong Sales & management, country penetration and ability to convert business opportunities into contracts/orders.
Further, being a O&M manager in K-Electric in Pakistan (1982-86), EPC Bid/Sale manager in ABB Sweden (1990-97), Sales manager in ABB Malaysia (1997-2001), Regional manager & Head of customer business in Rolls-Royce Singapore (2001-11), GM in Rolls-Royce India (2011-14) & Principal consultant in CORE-Dubai (2014-2016), I was in close contact with Energy players, Government Authorities, EPC players & Oil Majors & Operators and I have developed an in-depth knowledge of Global Energy business in India/ Malaysia/Indonesia/Thailand/Korea/Japan/Australia. My in-depth technical & commercial expertise of oil & gas /Power business coupled with my extensive market contacts can leverage the existing business and deliver further growth & efficiency for the organization in Asia Pacific & ME.
