Myself an accounts and finance professional, having strong 26 years of experience in Financial accounting, Management accounting ,cost accounting, trade finance, strategic finance, general finance, MIS repots, Budgeting and budgetary control, internal control etc.
My recent experience includes head of budgetary department, head of management accounts, formulated budgetary control, formulated policies and procedures in accounts department and other departments, core member of decision making committee, conducted a various make or buy, go ahead or stop decisions in various scenarios and projects. A capable leader who believes an individual cannot grow unless your company grows! Created a positive influence in my team and drove them to achieve times bounded objectives. Developed strong MIS reports which triggers as soon as an incident which requires immediate attention. In charge of Finalization and consolidation of accounts of the group with consists of 7 companies.
My recent achievement includes the introduction of 0% of EPP scheme, a unique scheme, and first time in driving industry. This helped the company to increase cash flow and there by revenue. Successfully negotiated one of the acquirer to reduce credit card charges and there by saved millions to the company. My strong payable strategy helped to settle the supplier’s correct amount on time. One of 3 members who led the team to achieve Dubai Quality Award. In my immediate previous assignment I was able to influence one of the major suppliers of Iphone in UAE to accept LC as their payment mode and thereby saved thousands to the company. Developed contribution margin study concept in place of GP study concept and thereby closed non contributing divisions and improved contributing division. Obtained new trade finance and Managed AED150 millions of bank finance.
Last but not the least, a qualified CPA (USA), CMA(USA) ACMA, and earned CertIFRS after competing my post graduate in commerce. Now in a thought of pursuing a Ph.D in finance.
