I am currently working as a corrosion engineer in Abudhabi company for onshore oil operations (ADCO) a subsidiary of ADNOC. I am currently located in main oil terminal Fujairah and responsible for the integrity of assets including main oil export line (ADCOP), eight storage tanks, three loading lines and three subsea lines. I am taking care of CP systems, internal and external corrosion of pipelines, storage tanks, plant piping and vessels. I oversee the contractor work for coating application, CP system installations, coupon retrievals and material selection and designs. I prepare the annual integrity reports for assets, annual CP effectiveness reports, coating integrity reports and chemical optimisation reports etc.
I have worked in material and corrosion laboratories, have done a lot of failure investigation studies, corrosion testings, physical testing of metals, different coating tests. etc
I am NACE corrosion technologist, NACE coating inspector level II, NACE CP level II, NACE internal corrosion ADVANCE and NACE basic corrosion.
