1. Develop, train and motivate team members, uniting diverse agendas to a common goal, and harnessing strategic and operational drivers to help them achieve organizational goals and deliver required results.
2. Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, international export regulations, local laws and business ethics codes and ensure that it is communicated and implemented transparently within the team.
3. Preparation of the annual department budget as per sales targets, margins, cash flow and verify actual vs. budget variances on a quarterly basis and reporting timely to management.
4. Managing the strategic and tactic coordination and execution of all supply chain functions (e.g. logistics, procurement, warehousing, materials planning, and shipping/transportation operations)
5. Establishing and leading policies, methods, tools and SLAs(w/suppliers and internal) to optimize processes and material costs to ensure transparency and continuous improvement in supply chain Management activities.
6. Ensure that all supply chain functions are executed effectively and efficiently using modern logistics methods/systems to achieve highest customer satisfaction with continuous optimization.
7. Identify failures and problems in the running operation and implementing well-timed corrective actions that would be necessary to ensure the optimal logistics operation.
8. Ensure warehouse management processes, maximize space utilization, and material requirement planning are maintained while ensuring the safety of the staff in the warehouse areas.
9. Maintain periodical cycle count and discrepancies are recorded and investigated in a timely manner.
10. Responsible for Supplier/ forwarder/ liner/ service provider management, Establishing new or negotiate existing contracts in-term of prices, conditions, quality and services, through regular evaluation and verification of relevant costs, invoices approval and resolving any disputes to maximum profit margin in the benefit of the organization.
11. Managing all governmental authorities' relationship for executing smooth import and export duties.
12. Ensure adequate procurement processes are integrated, regularly analyzed and communicated with all national and international suppliers to ensure customers’ satisfaction.
13. Execute regular inventory analysis to ensure that stock level, item-related master data and material planning parameters(ex: re-order-point related, ABC analysis, demand forecasting, service factor, leads time factor, safety stock, weighted average,…etc.) are adjusted and updated based on historical data and actual sales forecasts.
14. Plan, analyze & monitor performance to maximize customer service satisfaction and business efficiency as per the company standards, and customer’s complaints are resolved.
