• i am having 3 Years plus work Experience as a steel plant process Metallurgical engineer/ Quality assurance and process control/Technical services Metallurgist in Steel and Rolling Mill.
• Good knowledge and experience in areas of Metallurgical and Mechanical testing as per international standard procedures. Knowledge on Microscopic examinations, phase studies, inclusion detections, Macroscopic analysis for as cast and rolled product by acid etching,sulpur printing and Mechanical Testing of steel grades, like- Tensile, elongation, hardness , impact, blue fracture test, step down test and surface testing including MPI and Auto Ultrasonic test.Well acquainted with surface examination of as cast product include , surface defect such as sub surface cracks,centre crack, blow and pin holes, Dimensional Deviation, Slag patches, Billet joint, Bent etc.
• Sound knowledge in manufacturing of steel through Primary steel making by EAF, Secondary steel making by ladle refractory furnace processing, Continuous casting in billet and bloom casting. Good knowledge on Rolling Mill for Long product (wire rod) and Bar(round and RCS) product and heat treatment of wire rod product.
• Knowledge in international steel grade Manufacturing, process Development,Operating Cost Reduction,Productivity Improvements and Quality improvements.
• Knowledge on handling Customer Complaints,investigation of Failure analysis and implementing CAPA.Handling customer enquiries and customer Meet on finalizing specification.
• Working as Coordinator and Promoter for Technical collaboration and Technical assistance between M/S AICHI STEEL CORPORATION Japan and M/S USHA MARTIN LTD. India in Steel division and Rolling Mill.
• Knowledge and implementation of TPM and TQM policy in shop floor.
• Sound knowledge of Quality of Automotive parts and its impact on Automobile industry.
• Overall Technical and Managerial knowledge in Steel division.
