Matthew Perkins

I am a thirty year old British male with over fourteen years’ experience working for an international company supplying fragrances, flavours, essential oils and aroma chemicals.
In my current role as a laboratory supervisor I am in charge of quality control and analytical testing. I also have a range of experience in product and method research and development amongst a range of other skills that are listed below.
Part of my current role entails regularly testing new fragrances and flavours and working alongside the fragrance and flavour development managers to create new, exciting flavours and scents. I am a creative individual and enjoy being a part of the development process when given the opportunity. I pride myself on being able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. I am currently in a supervisory position so this means managing a laboratory team, delegating tasks and educating junior staff members. During the laboratory managers absence I take on their role and responsibilities.
I am used to working collaboratively with other team members whilst gaining new skills from their partnership. I enjoy communicating and can do this effectively both verbally and written. I am IT literate and am used to working with computers as part of my role.
I am a hard working individual with a professional attitude, excellent time keeping and excellent sickness record.
I have enjoyed working for my current company of fourteen years but seek to face new challenges, gain knew skills and hopefully further my career.
