Demonstrating the correct way to use studio equipment to junior members of staff.
 Cutting and styling a customer’s hair.
 Using a heat protectant when blow drying hair.
 Updating customer records.
 Sending out promotional material and details of special offers to customers.
 Dividing a customer’s hair into several different portions.
 Putting mousse into hair, from the roots right through to the end.
 Spaying hair thickening agents to give the hair more body.
 Suggesting hair styles to customers.
 Cleaning shampooing stations and basins after they have been used.
 Asking customers what sort of cut they would like.
 Taking cash and credit card payments from customers.
 Monitoring inventory levels and notifies manager when ordering is necessary.
 Welcoming clients as they enter the studio and asking them if they would like a cup of tea.
 Giving customers advice on how to look after their hair.
 Using colours and herbs when treating hair.
 Adhering to the studio dress code.
 Carrying out related administrative tasks.
 Booking appointments for clients.
 Attending all mandatory training sessions
