Profile
I am an ACCA affiliate with majors of Corporate reporting, Business Analysis, Management accounting, Advance Auditing and Assurance and Advance Performance Management. Currently I am preparing to appear in last 6 papers of ICMA (Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan) in August 2016 and hoping to qualify it. I am also appearing in the exams of CMA Level 1 in the month of June 2016 and Level 2 in September 2016
I am also a graduate (Bachelor of Commerce) from University of Karachi.
I have been a lecturer of ACCA papers F4 (Corporate and Business Law), F8 (Audit and Assurance), P1 (Governance, Risk and Ethics) and P3 (Business Analysis) so my presentation and convincing skills are also impressive. I left the job when the institute was liquidated due to financial shortfall.
I worked as Senior Accountant at AJM KOOHEJI GROUP from May 2015 (The Kingdom of Bahrain) till May 2016. Here I was responsible to maintain the accounts of whole BMD (Building Material Division), CSR (Commercial Shelving and Refrigeration) and KFU (Kooheji Furnishing Unit). Apart from regular maintenance of accounts I was responsible to prepare 15 different reports for my division which then helps the stakeholders to analyze the performance of the division and ease the decision making process.
I have worked as an Assistant Manager at Niamatullah and Company from January 2012 to May 2013 where I was responsible for filing sales tax return so I have knowledge of how to save tax for companies legally. I was also responsible for maintaining accounts, preparing bank reconciliations using the ERP of the entity. I quit working there because due of the short hierarchy of the organization I was not expecting any career growth. I also worked as an Accounts Manager at Impulse Advertising Company from May 2013 to April 2015 where I was solely responsible for maintaining customers' ledger, vendors' ledgers and to prepare final accounts. I was also a part of creative team there. The company was owner managed and very much dependent on me for accounts. I left the company because there my learning stopped and there was no potential for my career growth.
In my leisure time I am also a comic artist and maintaining an audience of above 300,000 fans on Facebook and Twitter which shows that my innovation, creativity and designing skills are also fine. I use my social media network for advertising and recruitment purposes as well. I have worked for Pepsi Co and Pizza Point as a freelance artist during the Cricket Worldcup 2015 campaign and worked as official promoter of PSL (Pakistan Super League) in 2016. Current campaigns include promotions of Drama serials aired by Hum TV and Urdu1.
My notice period is flexible and I am also available for interview.
