Maher Obeid

I have a Master’s degree in Architecture, a master’s degree in Building Production, and a third one in Complementary Competence in computer Science (Option: Architecture).
After eight years working in GCC countries in construction field as an Architect, Site engineer and as an Estimator, I am looking forward to new skills in the construction work.
Through my experience, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of project plans, design and pricing, with the ability to manage the associated documentation. The skin façade/ Envelope Building and the Interior Finishes analysis are a passion work for me.
I started to work as an Architect Site Coordinator at Saudi OGER Company in Riyadh, which is one of the biggest companies in the Middle East in Construction.
Few years later, I was required to liaise with the Estimating department, the Procurement Department, and the Construction. In addition to that, I was handling the technical works related to the proposals and estimating department.
I possess a high degree of attention to detail and am very organized. I learn quickly and constantly strive to succeed and excel. I have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with others, with the ability to work well as a member of a team, while confident in assuming responsibility for independent work.

My other skills include an excellent working knowledge of CAD programs, Sketch Up and Photoshop. I have limited experience with Autodesk Revit, but I am confident in my ability to quickly master use of the program with additional training. I used also the Candy Software for a short while before I decided to come here for a new experience.
