In his entrepreneurial initiative, for start-up company Deeya Energy Inc. he played instrumental role in raising $30 million and created large manufacturing facility in India. In his relentless approach he transferred NASA technology to India by visiting USA 12 times in 24 months.
Adaptability is his biggest strength of Mahender, as he has proved his mettle in power sector, telecom sector, oil & gas sector and infrastructure sector. He has performed his role for global market and multi-culture environment by having winning assignments of Norwegians (Eltek), Americans (Deeya Energy), Italians (ATB Riva Calzoni) and Middle East companies (EPC Contracting Group). Delhi Metro Project, Bhushan Steel Project, NALCO Aluminium Mining Project, ONGC Wellhead Platform & Process Platform are some of his project references apart from his core strength of Power Sector – distribution and electrification and trading.
