Lyndon Dennis Kiyimba

Lyndon is a dedicated procurement professional with a track record of success in fields of Supplier Selection, Contract evaluations, negotiations, logistics, customs clearance and appraisals. He has exceptional organizational skills and extensive experience with public and private sector procurement and currently seeking an MSc in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management from University of Salford MANCHESTER in partnership with Robert Kennedy College in Zurich, Switzerland.
Lyndon has worked in the said field collectively for over 10 years with both local and international exposure in strategic and operational procurement with extensive experience in the construction sector of public sector, having worked for the Uganda National Roads Authority and experience in Logistics and Customs clearance having worked for Intercontinental Forwarders Limited as Import/Exports Manager handling relief cargo for Crown Agents and the UNMIR(United Nations Rwanda), Handling Mackenzie Maritime Cargo and saw the birth of Kuhne and Nagel in Uganda which is a success story .
Lyndon has trained Ugandans and other internationals who came in the country to seek a pilot programme and one of the benefices where southern Sudan as they tried to set up their roads authority and needed to know how procurement and logistics can be of an advantage to the road sector in Southern Sudan, plus training Ugandans interns who are working in several organizations within the country.
Lyndon is familiar with the procurement rules and best practices of Uganda and international organizations having served in the East African Development Bank and Intercontinental Forwarders . Lyndon has also participated in understanding and implementation of quality management systems, ISO 9001:2015, which was held at the Uganda National Bureau of standards between August 23rd -25th, 2016.
