Highly driven, innovative, results orientated General Manager with 30 years of experience in the Plastic industry having worked for companies that is in the top five in the industry including recycling, packaging and injection moulding companies.
Having work and doing business in South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique and Nigeria has given me a vast amount of skills in managing a multi-cultural company with success.
Coming from an Electromechanical Engineering background with extensive experience in Projects, Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Sales, SHEQ, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Training, Finance, and Administration. I have the necessary experience in turning companies around by means of evaluating, strategizing, instituting controls, systems and training of employees from top management to junior employees.
To me one of the most important aspects in managing a successful company is through setting clear and achievable KPA’S and thus ensuring that everybody understands the goal and how to achieve it, as a team. To achieve success a business must invest in its employees by means of training, be it internal training and/or external training.
Although today’s business world requires an adaptable quick thinker, I am a major influencer of decisions at all levels and deliver results precisely of this.
Strengths: Resilient in nature and has the ability to deliver an efficient and sustainable business in trying circumstances and conditions. Take ownership of the business deliverables and has an acute sense of responsibility to deliver the profit and loss shape and objectives.
