Kiran Chandrasekharan

I am an experienced Naval Architect graduated from the University of Southampton with more than 6 years of experience as a Naval Architect including more than 4 years of managing, supporting and guiding Junior Naval Architects in London Marine Consultants, London. I am looking for a diverse technically challenging role and to be part of a leading engineering organisation.

As a Senior Naval Architect, I support the Engineering Manager in the management of the Naval Architecture team through bidding, design development, integration, and post production support work and is proficient in writing technical reports. I have successfully completed more than 14 projects for my company and have offshore experience for installation of mooring and anchors for an FSRU. I am pro- active and supportive in my personal and professional life. I have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can expertly perform computational offshore simulations/calculations.

I am a quick learner and can assimilate design codes and rules within the industry efficiently and I have good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written with excellent command in the English language. I am a reliable and consistent professional who can work independently with initiative and can also be a great team player.

I am ready for any opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience in the diverse areas of Naval Architecture and take up more responsibilities.
