Kieren Wilkie

I have a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, and more than nine years of engineering experience.
I am currently the CEO of a personal care manufacturing company, where I have gained vast experience in people management, business management and production areas.
Prior to moving into this role, I worked as a Senior Process Engineer with over 7 years in the Petro-chemical (Oil and Gas) field on Coal-to-Liquids, Gas-to-Liquids and Coal-to-Fertiliser projects. I also have experience in FMCG and chemicals environments.

After graduation, I spent over a year in the personal care industry at Antiseptol International Company. I got a position in the petrochemical industry at Sasol Technology where I achieved promotions from assistant process engineer, through process engineer to senior process engineer all within minimum time over a seven year period. During this time, I took an intermediate year of unpaid leave to the UK gaining experience at Foster Wheeler and Gillette UK Ltd (P&G). After Sasol, I spent two years with Solid Energy in New Zealand as part of a small team dedicated to upgrading their New Zealand Lignite reserves, this included a 3 month work assignment in China. I then returned to South Africa and Antiseptol International Company as the new CEO in order to assist with succession planning and company continuity.
