Khaled A Aziz Abulsaad

I am Dr. Khaled Abulsaad, Egyptian, Currently living and working in Bahrain. I amspecialized in geriatricsand internal medicine since 1995 when I joined the department of geriatrics - internal medicine in Ain Shams University Hospital, about 2 years after my graduation from Ain Shams Medical school in Cairo, Egypt in Dec. 1992, and after completing one year internship in Ain Shams University hospitals and one year as a GP in Egyptian MOH.

Since then I have been working in the field of geriatric medicine and general Medical field, managing medical patientsespcially elderly with multiple pathologies in acute care settings including ICU management, outpatient curative and preventive settings and chronic long term care settings. I finished my training program in Ain Shams University hospitals and got my CCT and continued to work as a consultant of geriatrics in Egypt then abroad. So in the past 25 years I could master management of most Geriatric and medical cases plus the whole scope of geriatrics of almost all types of elderly patients in all health care settings.

During that period I completed my studies and obtained my high diploma of general internal medicine, master degree and finally a Medical Doctorate in Geriatrics in the year 2004. And as a part of self development and assessment I got spcialty certification of the Royal Collage of Physicians – UK in Geriatric Medicine.

My experience as geriatric and medical consultant has also been developed through working in 2 of the gulf states, namely KSA and Kingdom of Bahrain.

I am interested to provide a specialized geriatric medical care, with acute geriatric inpatient and outpatient care as a consultant geriatrics and medcine. I am also interested toprovide a special care for elderly with acute health problems as well as chronic and long term care.

I am also interested share in creation and development of a comprehensive geriatric service that aim to an up to date comprehensive medical care for elderly with multi disciplinary team approach at all levels of health care for elderly primary, secondary and tertiary levels including preventive and therapeutic geriatric care for all inpatient and outpatient acute, chronic long term and rehabilitative care, home care and terminal geriatric care. My experience will help me in that aspect using your available resources and your expected excellent quality of services.
