Profile
I am a fully qualified and experienced Designer and have worked on various Structural and Civil projects, both onshore and offshore. I consider myself a hard-working, self-motivated individual who is capable of working as part of a team as well as using my own initiative.
My career to date has been varied and I believe I can apply myself to a variety of different work scopes and contribute as part of a team or in leading a team of designers. I am eager to learn new skills and I am hard working, dedicated and loyal. I have the ability to communicate well with others and I am an approachable and professional individual. I am enthusiastic and determined to achieve at the highest possible level. I believe my work experience has been of huge importance to my career development. I have developed skills which are essential in every work place such as working within a team and working under time restraints. Throughout all of my previous posts and in my current position with Amec Foster Wheeler I have an excellent time keeping record.
I have experience in Civil/Structural and Pipe Support design on both Greenfield and Brownfield platforms, FPSOs and onshore sites. Within my time with AmecFW, in both Aberdeen and Baku I have been responsible for mentoring nationals, this included visiting the Jakarta office to help set up Pipe Support design during my Aberdeen assignment. I also have extensive experience in Structural/Civil design & detailing in both residential and commercial sectors through my time with Scott Bennett Associates in Glasgow.
I have worked on numerous platforms in the North Sea and Caspian Sea, The Cruden Bay & Sullom Voe Terminals, Teekay Voyageur FPSO, Haewene Brim FPSO and the Kwame Nkrumah FPSO. I have also worked on various Brownfield and Greenfield sites for the construction of a range of different urban and commercial developments.
