I am Textile Technologist with B.Tech. in Textile Technology from Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Serampore and M.Tech in Manufactured Fibres from IIT Delhi possessing more than a decade of experience working in Textile, Technical Textiles, Apparel and Garment Industry.

Presently I am working as Deputy General Manager in MNC of Amer-Sil Ketex Pvt Ltd, and overall head of the manufacturing plant dedicated to Weaving, Processing, Quality Control, Product Innovation to Despatch of Technical Textiles. As head of Plants, the span of work includes raw materials procurement to Planning for Production; Quality Management System; Research & Development; Product Development; Training of staff and workmen; Maintenance of machines, equipment and utilities to finally attaining the cherishing goal of continuous improvement and organization’s sustained profitability through Project by Project approached embedded in very philosophy of TQM. We with our team achieved various landmarks for the organization viz.
1. Achieving annual turnover of Rs. 100 crore plus for year 2017-2018. Next Turnover Target is Rs. 120 crore.
2. Consistent Increase in Sales and Productivity by 20% month by month.
3. Reduction of Wastes by 3% with Reuse of Selvedge Yarn through Process Modifications at Weaving.
4. Reduction of Wastes by 5.5% by converting unusable baby cones generated at Warping into suitable size and shape of packages [Cops and Cones] with aids of custom developed Retrofit Type Adapters fixed onto Existing Machines.
5. Increasing Yield %age of Weaving by 10% through reuse and reduction of Yarn Wastages at stages.
6. Working on Projects for Manufacturing Facility Expansion by 50% with selection, planning, Plant Lay-out and Commissioning of Looms [Targeted by Year 2017 end]
7. Building Organization Competitiveness with Continual Development Initiatives through Projects intended for Product Innovation and Process Efficiency Enhancement.

My Exposure to Industry in general is extended to diverse assignments ranging from Budget Planning, Quality Management, Production, Plant Administration, Manpower Training, R&D, Product Development, Organization Studies, Process Automation, Process Autonomation, Energy Savings, Process Ergonomics, Lean Management, Projects related to Setting-up New Plants and Facility Expansion, Plant Layout, Line Balancing, Organization competitiveness aided with Process Tools & Techniques of SQC and Work Studies in Composite Textile Units [Vertically Integrated Facilities comprising Spinning, Weaving, Dyeing, Printing and Finishing], Technical Textiles and Garment Units of Digjam, BSL, GJPL, Amer-Sil Ketex Pvt Ltd to Spinners & Spinners while working in India and abroad.
