"My name is Karim E. NAHAS a Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer with an experience of 12 years in design and construction. I had grasped in my first years of hard working the notion of thoroughly designing all mechanical trades (HVAC:chilled water, VRF and DX systems along with drainage, water supply, fire fighting, steam and gas networks). Attended lectures and courses in LEED green buildings technologies. At a certain phase in my career, I had the opportunity to win the bidding of a project located in Amman (please refer to attached CV) by which 19 engineers were hired to meet the deadlines at the most efficient outputs. This is when I started to go through the contacting fields, understanding the mentality of main and sub-contractors generalizing by that the whole aspect of both designing, purchasing and installing along with interfaces with contracts and scopes of works (i.e: responsibilities). In addition, interface with electrical trades BMS, fire alarm systems had been conducted. As a whole, planning, quoting and cost controlling accompanied my young career to establish the best understanding of that particular field. Currently, I am working in the power section field (EPC) mainly in HVAC design and erection through interfaces with power equipment through BMS, fiber Optics and Fire alarms(Design and Constructions).
