Karamat Ali

Has overall 33-year experience in the field of coordination in water resources, storage, hydropower development and surface & sub-surface drainage projects for Sindh and Baluchistan provinces from their inception to completion and post-completion operation and maintenance stages in Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and raising awareness on use of water resources from the platform of Pakistan Water Partnership (PWP). Specific key experiences on different positions are as under:

Country Coordinator
Supervised all Pakistan level activities with Regional and Global level collaborating organizations for the last 17 years with laudable success and appreciation.

Office Manager/Company Secretary
Led national office for more than 17 years in Lahore and Islamabad; representing at national, regional and global levels throughout world from 1999 to 2015 raising its grant income from zero to Euro 150,000 in 2014-15.

Event Manager
Over 100 events including more than a dozen mega events organized at Pakistan, South Asia regional and global levels providing all services for the utmost success of the events and achievement of the objectives.

Project Formulation/Implementation
Over a dozen water resources development and management projects formulated, implemented and reviewed in WAPDA and an NGO during 1982 to 2015 with successful results.

Proposal Writer
Prepared and got approved over 25 proposals for projects in water awareness, climate change resilience, poverty reduction, sustainable development over a period of 17 years from 1999 to 2015.
