Experienced in Electrical system design works for industrial projects (Desalination plants, Pumping stations, Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment plants for infrastructure development projects). Industry experience covering Water & Wastewater Plants, Desalination Plants, Pumping station for District Cooling Plants. Petrochemical Plants & Power Plants. Leading team of engineers to execute large projects. I have experience in managing and executing all phases of a project cycle i.e. Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & control and closing. Technical bid Analysis and reviewing EPC TENDER Specifications for various Electrical / Instrumentation Equipment. Selection, sizing, and procurement of electrical/ instrumentation items accordance with international & local standards, Area classification & compliance with contract specs. Design & detailed engineering of drawing/documents for Electrical/Instrumentation system. Selection and procurement of MV/MDB/LV switchgears & motor control centres; VFDs, Capacitor panel etc. Responsible for Basic & Detail Engineering of Drawings/Documents, including: SLD; Load List; Electrical equipments Layouts; Panels/Distribution Boards Schedule; Cable routing ,Sizing and relevant calculations , Earthing & lighting Layouts; Electrical/instrument Equipment Datasheets; Material Take off List; Cable Drum schedule; Electrical/Control cable schedule and Termination / Interconnection Drawings; Instrument list; Schematic diagram; block diagrams; Electrical/instrument installation & hook up drawings. Involve in Cable sizing, Voltage drop calculation, Load analysis, UPS calculation, Short circuit analysis, Harmonics review, Transformer sizing calculation, Earthing/Lighting , Lightning protection , Power factor correction calculation, Selective coordination, Circuit breaker and other Protective device sizing etc. Reviewing material submittals of substation equipment and other electrical equipments as per regulations e.g. MV Panel, LV Panel, MCC, Generators, Transformers, UPS system, MV/LV cables, Capacitor Banks ,VFDs, Soft starters ,ATS panel ,Instruments, Earthing/lighting system ,UPS etc. Prepare shop drawings for installation of different type of Instruments like Hydrostatic level Transmitters, Flow meters, Flow Switches, Pressure Transmitters, Ultra-sonic level Transmitters, Level Switches, Analyzers, Pressure gauges, Pressure Switches etc. Prepare shop drawings of all type of Electrical works such as Cable routing layouts, earthing/lighting layouts including HV Panel, LV Panel, MCC Panel, Transformers, Generators, Capacitor Panels , Control panels, UPS systems etc. Inspection and FAT of electrical/ instrumentation items. A thorough knowledge, understanding and application of Local and International standards; IEC, BS, KAHRAMAA, ADSSC & DEWA etc. Decision making on techno-commercial front in procurement phase. Budget control with project team and cost effective engineering implementation. Reviewing/monitoring team members/subordinates assignments. Technical meetings with Clients, Consultant and Sub-Contractors to expedite the design issues.
