I am writing to express my interest in applying for future vacancies in the complete field of garden- and landscaping, hardscaping ectr. at your organization.

Based in Germany, I am currently employed as Quality Control Engineer Landscaping at Arriyadh Development Authority , reporting directly to Director of infrastructure projects. (King Abdullah Road Project Riyadh, Bus Rapid Transit Project Riyadh, please see all the relevant Youtube videos to have more understanding about these Projects)

My duties for these mentioned projects include:

Supervising contractors on all aspects of Hardscape and Softscape construction.
Hardscape, including exterior stonework (paving of roadways, pedestrian walkways and parking lots), cladding, GRC-artificial rockwork, wood decking, site furnishings, natural rock grouping.
Softscape, including plant material inspection (on site, at local nurseries and over-seas), on-site planting and associated landscape elements [soil mixing, levelling and capillary movement (drainage)].
Review and approval of shop drawings, materials samples, mock-ups etc. in connection with hardscape and softscape.
Onsite design modifications and implementation of additional Clients’ requests.
Participating in the preparation of periodical progress report Correspondence with client, project managers and contractors.
Co-ordinating and liaising with other sections of the Municipality and Gardens Directorate (workshop, nurseries, transportation department, etc…), contractors and other third parties as necessary for the progress of works.
Work proactively to resolve any problems or site issues as they occur in connection with hardscape and softscape.
Ensure that all resources of materials, manpower, and plant and equipment are available at all sites in a timely manner for proper progress of landscaping works.
Ensure that work at all sites is proceeding according to program and to the required standards, in accordance with approved designs and instructions issued.
Follow up the progress of all ongoing site work on a frequent basis to ensure timely and proper completion of site work.
Supervise the preparation of landscaping as-built drawings.


I have a total of 25 years of full-time work experience with a large practical experience on the landscape and road construction site, landscape and road design review, construction supervision, problem handling and very good knowledge about international technical standards.

I believe that the skills I have acquired in the course of my professional and educational experiences will be valuable assets for your organization and your clients. In my extensive years of experience in this field, I have worked in three major landscape facilities administering high end commercial and private environmental landscaping to my clients.

I am well versed in all areas from hard to soft landscaping and road building. (Asphalt and Paving Stone areas)

To this end, I can offer a full portfolio of various sites in which I organized and lead large and small scale landscape projects as Project Manager, to include resorts, business parks, municipal recreational areas, golf courses, and private residencies.

In all of these environments to which I held the position of Project Manager, I was responsible for hiring and cultivating a team of talented and hard working landscape workers and engineers to ensure my goals for hard and soft landscape projects were met with aplomb.

Also, I was responsible for allocating tasks, developing landscape plans, coordinating with environmental staff, and developing the appropriate permits and allocation when needed for successful implementation of our clients’ goals and desires.
