Gourango Mishra

My name is Gourango Mishra, my career objective lies in in Biotechnology and Healthcare sector is a pursuit of passion. Thus I want to take up a challenging carrier in the relevant field in a concern where I can be a key team member which allows me to exploit my potential to develop new ideas in this field.

During Masters, molecular biology, biochemistry and plant biotechnology drew my attention towards further understanding their applications in disease biology. This is the reason I decided to choose post-graduate dissertation in biochemistry linked with haematological works in animal models in Mahavir Cancer Sansthan and Research Centre. During masters I also gained experience in Genomics and Proteomics and other relevant biological methodologies.

During my undergraduate and graduate studies I have always been among top 10% in the class. I was also seminar secretary during masters. Furthermore I have published research article in International Journal of Applied Research which can be produced on demand.

My academic and professional experience helped me to develop strong leadership skills and know how to manage diverse team members. My responsibility as Research associate is of Test selection, application and resolution of any technical failure. Moreover, I have played the role of a co-guide in carrying out project works of various undergraduate and post graduate students.

During free time, I have been engaged unofficially with NGOs as a resource person to understand the grass-root issues in agriculture and health. I am also an active member of United Nation Volunteer and a life member of Society of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Further, I was also involved in seminars on cancer, T.B, agriculture and in workshops on bioinformatics.
