For more than 15 years I've worked with an exemplarily safety record on numerous Oil & Gas projects onshore and offshore around Australia and around the world in challenging countries and I have a proven background in roles from Instrumentation/Electrical Technician to Advisor and Supervisor in Commissioning as well as part of Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Production and Detailed Design Engineering Teams.

I would like to highlight areas of my CV by stating that in my career I have gained experience in operations, commissioning, fault finding and maintaining a wide range of electrical and instrumentation systems, fire & gas equipment and electrical machinery normally found in modern Hydrocarbon processing facilities and industrial establishments.

I am also familiar with Hazardous Areas, including inspections of Hazardous Area equipment and working in the Hydrocarbon Industry. The process operations experience I have gained as an Operator/Maintainer on various Hydrocarbon facilities has given me a strong grounding in PTW, process isolations and testing of equipment, plant and equipment operations.

In conclusion I feel that my experience in industry to date has given me the skills necessary to work reliably, safely and competently anywhere in the electrical/instrumentation and process operations fields.

I enjoy what I do, the places it takes to me too and the people that I meet along the way. The experience is the same whether it’s a short term or long term position.

The key is if you enjoy what you do, then it is reflected in the work you produce and the results you achieve and hopefully you can pass on these qualities to those you work with.
