I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from USA. I am currently working for State Audit Institution of United Arab Emirates. My total work experience is approx. 14 years. I am well experienced in compliance, financial and internal audit. I have been an active team lead in setting the strategic direction for a value-focused Internal Audit department at SAI (UAE) including risk based methodology and global best practices ensuring value added findings to be delivered and accepted by clients. Timely finalized audits at multi-locations and lead large teams at diversified locations. Currently i am responsible to Oversee all assigned audit projects, including the analysis of clients data and clients systems for functionally assigned areas, Reviewing audit scopes, test plans, and results for audits assigned. I have worked with KPMG Tax department as well and have been involved in preparing and filing tax returns and follow-up with Tax authorities for final assessment of returns and related queries.
