 17 professional years of materials and corrosion engineering for oil and gas, petrochemical and pipelines projects in MENA and Australia regions.
 Experienced in several technical fields (materials selection, cathodic protection design, coating selection and inspection, corrosion inhibitor systems design, failure analysis, welding).
 PHD in the metallurgy of the stainless steels.
 Approved as Welding Engineer by ExxonMobil.
 Accredited as:
o NACE Senior Internal Corrosion Technologist;
o NACE Cathodic Protection Specialist; and
o NACE Coating Inspector.

My Technical Capabilities are:
1. Mastering all corrosion and metallurgy related issues during the engineering design phase; such as materials selection using corrosion rate prediction programs (DW and ECE-5).
2. Preparing the key deliverables for corrosion mitigation, such as Material Selection Reports, MSD and Corrosion Monitoring Plans for the design of oil and gas fields.
3. Designing and reviewing all types of cathodic protection systems.
4. Failure and root cause analyses, through my experience in metallography, destructive and non-destructive testing, inspection, and welding engineering.
5. Implementing codes and standards, such as (ASME, ASTM, NACE, API, ISO, BS, SSPC, and DNV) for the corrosion mitigation and inspection of piping, pipelines, structure, and instruments.
6. Experienced and developing companies’ specifications, such as (SHELL, BP, TOTAL, ARAMCO, ORYX,Enppi etc).
