Dr. Suman Chakraborty

I am working with M S Ramaiah University, Bangalore as Head-Department of Commerce. Prior to joining M S Ramaiah University, I worked as Associate Professor, Finance area for MBA Program at Biju Patnaik Institute of Information Technology and Management, Bhubaneswar, ICFAI Business School, Dehradun, Kalinga University, Bhubaneswar, and Globsyn Business School, Kolkata. I hold double Master's degree (regular and full-time), Master of Financial Analysis and Control (M.F.C) and Master of Commerce (M.Com) from Jodhpur University, Rajasthan, India. I have also earned Ph. D. in area of finance from Utkal University, India.
I have more than 15 years of experience in teaching, training, research and in academic administration in reputed Business Schools in India. I have taught subjects like Financial Accounting, Management and Cost Accounting, Financial Derivatives, Corporate Valuations, Security analysis and Portfolio Management to post graduate students. I have also delivered corporate training sessions to middle and lower management personnel in the areas of merchant banking, life insurance and mutual funds. I have published research papers in with international and national referred journals and presented in national and international conferences. Currently, I have been appointed as editor in chief of MSRUAS Journal of Management and Commerce.
