• Study/Review of tender documents, scope of work, drawings, BOQ, specifications, client’s requirement and etc. from the tender documents for proper estimating works.
• Preparing technical queries for ambiguities in drawings, specifications and BOQ.
• Take off the High Current (Lighting, Power) and Low Current Systems as per electrical
single line diagram, layouts.
• Measuring the Cables & Cable Trays.
• Preparing the Cable Schedule.
• Measuring the Earthing & Lightning Conductors.
• Preparing materials in take off Sheet.
• Quantity surveying, preparing bill of materials and quantities.
• Prioritize RFQ’s that require more time to get quotation and major cost items.
• Prepare & send RFQ for all the items to all the approved/ approved equal suppliers/ sub-contractor to obtain required quotations.
• Follow up with the supplier/sub contractor to obtain quotation in time, clarify to all their queries with the supplier/sub contractor when required.
• Technical Evaluation of supplier/sub-contractor quotations as per tender requirements.
• To obtain competitive offers and cost comparison.
• Electrical Estimation & connected civil works( Man hole, Hand hole , Duct bank , Buried )
• Material scheduling by measuring the quantities from the drawings to develop priced
bills which includes both material and man hour cost.
• Costing & Billing of High current (Lighting ,Power) and Low Current System like
Fire Alarm, Public Address, Telephone and Data ,Closed Circuit Television,
Audio Visual & Master Antenna Television System.
• To produce fully priced detailed bills of quantities complete with labour hours and material costs.
• Preparing BOQ unit prices as per tender BOQ format and filling.
• Check all the addendums and communications received from the client, ensuring that all items are being clarified and considered in the pricing.
