Profile
I would like to explore myself as a researcher in the R&D department.
Currently I am working as a national postdoctoral fellow at National Institute of Science Education and Research in Bhubaneswar (Department of Atomic Energy Lab). I have completed my first postdoc from Laboratory of Supramolecular Chemistry, Ruder Boskovic Research Institute, Croatia and worked on “Preparation of hybrid soft materials combining supramolecular anthraquinone-based gel systems and gold nanoparticles”.
I did my Ph.D. in chemistry under the supervision of Dr. Parimal Paul, at CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) at Bhavnagar (Gujarat, India). CSIR-CSMCRI is a National Research Institute in India under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Department of Science & Technology (Govt. of India). During my Ph.D work, I have worked in the broad area of Molecular recognition. Primary aim of my research was to develop purpose-built organic receptors for selective recognition of ionic analytes having biological significance. In my postdoctoral study I was engaged to synthesis of different types of low molecular weight gelators and involved to develop nanoparticles in situ.
I am seeking for an opportunity to work in research group which will give me the chance to mould myself to become a true researcher.
