I have done a research on the possibility of using wind turbine onboard vessel as an alternate way in reducing the usage of fossil fuel.There are several software tools which i used to create my own 50m tanker model to be analysed using the Maxsurf software. The analysis covers with and without the wind turbine.Beside that, i have used the AutoCaD software to draw the actually tanker with wind turbine and labelled them with the operation procedures.
Besides engineering, I have management experiences in subjects related to quality managements where I will be able to develop ideas in promoting the importance of quality in your organization.
During my internship, I have experiences working onboard with Aframax tanker vessel (American Eagle Tankers) for duration of 8 months and have learned operational and maintenance of most machineries and with these I will be able to work in challenging environments. While the experience of me working in this extreme environment I have developed strong interpersonal skills, team building and collaborative skills.
In addition, I was given opportunity to serve under marine department in Port Klang whereby I was able to apply ship inspection knowledge that I have learned into reality. I trust my career path would open wider where I will be able to work as a ship surveyor as well.
