Alok Pathak

Mr Pathak has more than 21 years of experience as Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist on major infrastructure projects such as water and transportation tunnel, hydro power projects, underground power stations, groundwater containment wall (cut-off wall), shaft, adit between shaft and tunnel. He is experienced in NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method), DBM (Drill and Blast), TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine), Pipe Jacking (micro tunnel). He as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist has been involved with many geotechnical investigations, interpretation, conducted core logging, rock mass classification (Q,RMR,GSI), topographic mapping, slope stability, tunnel alignment, geotechnical design parameters calculations, geophysical investigation & monitoring. During consruction stage, field data collection (Geological Mapping, instrumentation, grouting, dewatering, pump test, vibration monitoring, monitor defects and deficiencies), Evaluation & interpretation of field data preparation of cross sections, longitudinal sections and reports for records. Worked in Middle East and India.
