I am a senior management professional with over 23 years of general management, P/L ownership, sales &
marketing and leadership experience in Real Estate, Financial Services and Consumer Industries, in
organizations like Cushman &Wakefield, Jones Lang LaSalle, ABN AMRO, ICICI Bank, MNYL, Pepsico, Sterling
Resorts, and Bausch & Lomb.
I also have an innings of entrepreneurial experience having founded a real estate consulting firm Lemongrass
Advisors Private Limited.
After successfully starting up the East India operations of Jones Lang LaSalle (then Chesterton Meghraj),
growing it from the ground to around 150 employees within 4 years and with market leadership position
amongst IPCs in the East India Market, I founded Lemongrass Advisors Private Limited, with very limited startup
capital and no working capital/growth capital in 2009, when "starting up" had not become fashionable
nationally. In the following 4 years, with only internal accruals, Lemongrass grew from 4 employees to 90
employees at peak, with 3 branches in East India and with a billed top line of around $ 1million in the third year.
Amongst the most powerful brands in the East India market in the real estate consulting trade, Lemongrass
attracted interest from Brand Capital (Bennett Coleman) which valued it at around $ 6 million on the third year
of operation.
During 2013, I negotiated a “talent acquisition transaction” with Cushman and Wakefield India. Lemongrass
team's merger with Cushman and Wakefield India was a widely covered event in the media and was considered
as a notable acquisition within the trade.
Amongst the most quoted and featured real estate professional in East India in the media, I am an active
member of CREDAI Bengal and engage in FICCI, CII and Tie events.
