I am an MBA graduate specialized in Marketing with 10 years plus experience in GCC and Indian market.
At present working with AJMAL Pefume group for their mass category of perfume brand called MARYAJ PERFUME as Assistant Sales Manager for GCC Market.
I do manage the business through our distributor in each country. The core channels we do business are modern trade, B-class supermarket, perfumery and general trade. My major responsibilities are as follows,
Sales and Promotion:- Responsible for UAE,OMAN, KSA and QATAR territory sales; Involve quarterly customer wise / channel wise target setting with distributor; Ensure product placement and availability through stock audit; Manage market spent with A&P pool; Plan and execute promotions as per event / customer promo calendar; Negotiate / Approve promotion budget.
Data Analysis:- Product wise sales analysis monthly to understand performing sku. Right product right market strategy developed and implemented based on this; Customer wise sales analysis; Channel wise sales analysis.
Budget Planning/Execution/Analysis: Manage yearly budget; Allocate budget customer wises. Specify spent for different parameters such as Secondary visibility, Promoters, Promotion, booklet participation, Event participation; Planning sales against spent; Managing spent from A&P pool; A&P Pool analysis vs spent; Negotiate with distributor to control the spent with in planned budget; Analysis on spent vs sales against the budget.
Inventory Management:- Maintain 90 days inventory for fast selling 8 SKU 60 days and 40 days inventory for other SKU with distributor; Review inventory twice in a week with distributor and ensure no out of stock; Planning special promotion price for slow moving inventory; Giving inventory projection to production department; Planning special offer pack/bundle pack with the support of packaging team.
