A Technical professional with multi-faceted domestic & international experience of over 3 decades in the areas of General Management, Projects, Maintenance, Instrumentation and Electrical, HSE Management of critical Fertilizer Plants such as Ammonia Plant, Urea plant, captive power & utilities plant; Lastly spearheaded functions as Senior General Manager and subsequently remained Advisor to Director as a post retirement assignment with IFFCO, Asia’s biggest Fertilizer Company. A Decisive Leader with exposure to Statutory Compliances, General Management, Project Management, Instrumentation, Materials Management, Quality Assurance, Liaison/Coordination, Safety & Environment Management; an assertive manager, capable of leading large workforce, fostering an atmosphere to motivate highly talented professionals.

Displayed credentials in planning & supervising the entire project right from scoping, planning, scheduling, defining technical specifications, reporting and documentation, budgeting and cost estimates, tendering, commercial operations and coordination with team members & clients, etc. and monitoring to ensure project accomplishment within defined time/cost parameters; Strong techno-commercial acumen with the ability in participating in commercial and legal discussions, finalizing requirements, costs estimates, contract documents; evaluating & executing contracting works as well as handling vendor negotiation, award and review of contracts as per deal agreement.

Adept in identifying the bottlenecks and critical areas while executing the projects; experience in Plant safety including HAZOP studies encompassing environmental aspects like monitoring and control of effluents, fire detection and alarm systems, fail safe shutdown system, intrinsic safe Instrumentation etc. Abilities in leading and directing large workforce while ensuring optimal resource utilization; strong leadership traits with the ability to bring out the best in others while creating a healthy and friendly work environment.
