12 years of experience as Process Safety / Fire Protection Engineer in the Oil & Gas Sectors, for offshore and onshore, Chemical, Industrial, Petrochemical and Fertilizer projects. Overall experience includes Concept, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detail Engineering stages of projects. Have been involved in development of various Safety Studies, Philosophies, Specifications, and Risk Assessments.

As part of the engineering team, I have worked on a range of projects including Heavy Oil, Natural Gas, and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) projects for both offshore and onshore facilities. In addition, I have experience in management of the safety deliverables for several major projects. The scope of these projects included Process Safety, Fire Rsik and Fire Protection studies. I have a rich experience in the following arenas :
1. Fire water systems like Sprinkler, Stand pipe, Hose reel, Hydrant, Monitor, Deluge, HV/MV water spray system, fire water ring main networks.
2. Fire, Smoke, Gas Detection and Alarm system.
3. Passive Fire Protection, Hazardous area classification, Fire safety risk assessment, evacuation methodology, Gap analysis, fire and safety philosophy, HAZOP, QRA, SIL studies.
4. Centrifugal Pumps – Calculation, Selection, capacity of electric motor and diesel engine, preparing data sheet.
5. High, Medium and Low expansion Foam Systems. Clean Agent, CO2 and wet chemical / Dry powder fire suppression systems.
