With more than two decades of zealous work as a leader, Mr. Yogesh Sharma has been ruling the roost in his realm. There’s a famous adage that ‘You don’t learn the trade, it’s in your blood’ and no one proves it right better than Mr. Sharma who has thrived in the world of Management as an insolent leader. With a vehemence to make it big in the industry, he is sturdily making his way to the summit.

He boasts of strong communication skills, analytical perspicacity and a knack to understand finance has given him a substantial start. Over the years, he has successfully augmented the progress of projects in different and alternative cost controlled routes between budgetary limit and limited time frame and have ventured in, new methods with lesser man power and effective machineries.

A career spanning 20 years is ladled with his achievements in different areas where he has remarkably professed his management skills like Business Planning, Technology and HR. A versatile leader he has played a key role integrating his team for effective coordination and has been successful in the completion of each target. Like a true mentor he stands by his team in every thick and thin and spruce them from the very beginning.

He has gained experience in working with reputed buyers like Wallmark, GAP, JV Penney, Nautica, Next, Marks & Spencer, Speedo for exports in both Men & Women, kids knits and much more.

Presently, he is employed with Gaur’s Sons Pvt Ltd (Since April 2008) as a Managing Director and is accountable for 500 Sewing machines. He supervises all the tasks, from cut to packing to delivery and ensures proper delivery to buyers. He is also responsible for dealing related to buying houses and takes care of QA/QC. As a leader, he puts in extra effort to ensure that all the activities are accomplished adhering to the timeline and cost released by the organization. A multi-dynamic professional he also delves into cost saving tactics for the organization and has been instrumental in optimizing the best resources to get the results. Motivation is something that he has not seen dearth of, he is an individual who savors in involving himself in work. As a trailblazer, he always has been an inspiration for his team. A risk taker, he believes in going the unconventional way and focused on expanding the business in new markets.

Prior to this, he has immensely contributed to Toy N Toy International (1996-2008) from where he got superannuated as an Executive Director. It is here that he got an opportunity to spend the first decade of his career and learnt the nuances of the business. Here, he was involved in erection and commissioning of total 800 Sewing Machines out of which 305 were Knits and 705 were for woven product. The task was accomplished under the guidance of Korean Technicians from Daewon. Mr. Sharma took the opportunity to get trained in cutting, sewing, finishing and packaging the folders, making fabrics and accessories. He got involved in Industrial engineering, washing unit & computerized embroidery knowledge and diligently assisted the production department in accomplishing all the tasks.

A constant learner, he has undergone various training programmes and seminars in order to further his knowledge. He attended the Korean Delegated Training and conduction with HR compliance & Fire Safety training. He got an opportunity to attend all QC/QA fire safety, first aid, compliance for garment factory seminars.

A professional with par excellence he has received certificates from Fire & Safety, Health Department for First Aid ISO:9001 from KPMG and a certificate from Water and Pollution Department Factory Licenses.

Academically, he has acquired a BE degree in Chemical from Kashmir University in 1987 and MBA in Marketing from University of Leicester in 2009.
