Having held senior positions both in operational and strategic HR including startups, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions has helped in possessing the right blend of conceptualizing HR solutions and leading to its pragmatic execution.
Over the last thirty years the strategic management skills demonstrated through active participation in planning and execution and translating corporate objectives into tangible regional and local specific deliverables has been well accepted by the organisations I have worked for. Major challenges included working with CXOs and the senior leadership team . Facilitating , building cohesion amongst the cross functional teams has been a major agenda during most of my assignments .
With the extensive operational knowledge , the proven ability to continuously deliver stretch performance targets and a DRIVE for improving productivity , maintaining a balance between cost and improving productivity has been an ongoing endeavour from my end .
Have been successful in proving my management skills through successful startups encompassing manpower planning , hiring , training and delivering the right mix of people at the right time to the business for their operational needs .
Managing cross cultural teams through continuous organizational change in the modern business arena of turbulence through continuous communication process so that the focus is not lost , has been a significant contribution from my end to the business .
Extensive change management activities through lead roles during my stay in General Electric has added to my competencies which in turn has widely helped in downsizing and ramping , restructuring the set up to suit the business requirements as and when required .
Given an opportunity I am confident that taking up a challenging role in any environment would not be a matter of concern for me.
